![]() ![]() Love the SA weapon! I have no experience with the.380 BUT my PF9 has been a nightmare with FTEs and that has been the experience of many. On the plus side, I bought the XDM as a result of getting a trade value on the KT, then buying it anyway and keeping the KT. KT would probably have done the barrel free but eight weeks seemed to be the lead time so, I gave the barrel a chance otherwise it would have been traded off (I had reservations about sticking someone else with it). ![]() I will test a mag load or two every trip to the range but it will make you tired pretty fast compared to heavier guns with better balance and grips. It still lacks some upgrades that aren't as important to me (metal mag release, improved trigger spring, etc.) I pocket carry for SD only and have tested it with three hundred rounds of mixed HP and range ammo and am satisfied it shoots. This recall only affects a portion of Gen 2 SUB-2000s that were manufactured in 2017. ![]() The safety of our customers is our primary concern, so Kel-Tec has voluntarily initiated this recall because of the possibility of a barrel rupturing. Thank you Kel-Tec, for your concern and for the outstanding positive customer relations you demonstrated. Thursday the brand new replacement arrived with the same serial number as the destroyed gun, so I don't have a lot of registraion gymnastics to do here in the Peoples' Republik of New York.
